I've been shopping this online site lately getting ready for fall,
NeedSupply.com. ALthough some of the stuff is crazy pricey, I like the overall style of the choices. I saw this long sleeve black shirt that shouted out to me as a great layering replacement to a shirt I lost in an airport in London. I don't even like to think about it, it was my favorite wear everywhere pullover that just fit so well. A black synthetic material with a zip up collar, sort of athletic fit. Color never faded one bit! black black - and be pulled on top of
anything I wore on cooler mornings, just classic etc... anyway, I have a white one just like it that I still wear all the time. I remember running with my carry-on in one hand a few bags in the other through the Heathrow airport trying to get a boarding pass and then to the gate, realizing once I was on an elevator it was gone. I had foolishly tucked in between the handles of my carry-on sort of draping over the top...previous trips I'd tied the sleeve in a loop around knot... but this time, no... and it fell and was lost... I took the elevator right back up, traced my steps back to the counter, back to the elevator... hundreds of people walking back and forth of course. and of course it was gone. ok well anyway thanks for listening. Just makes that rushing around the airport making time heart beating and carrying extra weight while doing so all the more awful! but I've since grieved and accepted the loss. ha.
ok, well back to latest purchase the shirt in the photo. It was hard to decide size large or medium and I'm really glad I went with a large. although the model in the pic is 6'2 and wearing a M, I could tell his shoulders probably weren't as broad as mine and plus with long sleeve shirts I'm always better going with a large. Abercrombie & F, when I used to wear A&F, was about the only brand that was a good fit in Medium for me with long enough sleeves as well.
The shirt has a sort of terrycloth feel to it, except the sleeves which are reversed. I have a long neck and only wear crew neck, never V. but I really like the little triangle detail at the collar on some crewnecks like this one has. can't wait to wear it this fall! I'm posting a few extra pics of other shirts I liked but withheld temptation of blowing my budget. WHen you are planning a trip to NYC, you must always remind yourself- why buy anything here or now? I'm going to in NYC in a few months!!! :)

p.s. if you visit the site, the size options don't show up in internet explorer on my computer, so use another browser... just fyi
